Where Do I Get Help?

  • When you need help go to a parent, friend, teacher, counselor, family doctor or another adult you trust. Some employers offer employee assistance programs.
  • Don't stop at one person if you don't get the help you feel you need. Sometimes people don't want to believe that it is as bad as you say it is, so they minimize your issue and tell you everything will be okay — but you know it's not going to be okay.
  • Keep reaching out to those you know care about you. Be honest with them about what you're using and why you need help.
  • Professional help is available. Contact
